Relevant experience

Get You Seen, Birmingham – July 2014

I worked alongside the team at Get You Seen to establish the Sasy n Savy brand in the British market. My main responsibilities included writing press releases for the brands products as well as blog posts for the Get You Seen website.
“It was a pleasure having Danielle in the office to help with our busy team. She got on with work well and almost always completed her work on time. Danielle is always welcome back should she ever want more experience.”
Haslimann Taylor, Birmingham – August 2013
PR intern
I completed a week long work placement as Haslimann Taylor (HTPR) wherein I got the chance to write press releases and conduct research that would contribute to some of their clients social networking sites.

“Danielle was a pleasure to have on work experience. She was extremely punctual and polite and fitted in well with the team. She was extremely outgoing which is important in PR and she always asked for more work when she completed her tasks. She was extremely helpful during her visit and I would certainly not hesitate in having her back.”

Media and communication student, Birmingham City University
I have completed modules in Journalism, both hard news and feature writing. This involved me sourcing my own stories and publishing them on a blog.
PR is another area in which I took a module in and an area which I am very interested in. The module has given me skills in writing a successful press release as well as an understanding of the techniques needed to fulfil PR objectives.
