Engaging with your audience // Online Presence

"From Youtube, Pinterest, Lover.ly to Instragram and Facebook -- social media has dramatically changed how brides, mother of the bride, mothers of the groom and Bridesmaids explore and discover ideas for wedding planning. "

We are now living in an ages where organisations have the ability to engage with clients at the push of a button. In order to engage with my specific target audience, middle class young adults (21-35), social media will play a very important role in communication. Although Confetti Weddings will have a main website that will be the main hub for information and contact details, using platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest will be the main way we interact and engage with potential clients.

Although there is a wide range of social media platforms available, one platform I won't to focus on is Pinterest. The pinning app is a great way to showcase ideas for invitations, bouquets, dresses and cakes. It is a great way for Confetti Weddings to share ideas with clients; even a bride-to-be who does not use our services will visit our Pinterest page, repin an image from Confetti and therefore remeber where the original image came from.

Social media has significantly changed the wedding industry. The ease of interact has created online communities to share and discuss ideas, a community in which Confetti Weddings will play a large role in.
